On the 19th September, a delegation from Qatar, guided by His Excellency, Dr Saleh Fetais, Undersecretary for the Ministry of Transport Affairs, paid a visit to IFAN’s offices in London.
Guy Mason, IFAN’s Chairman, and Peter Stanley, IFAN’s CEO, had the opportunity to discuss a wide range of topics with the Qatari delegation, including the excellent technical expertise on navigational safety in the Middle East Gulf, the increasing move to digitalization in the maritime industry and the shipping’s impact on safety at sea and the marine environment in the Gulf.
